Plain-English privacy policy. No tricks, no fine-print loopholes.

The TL;DR

  • We never read your screenshots. Not even once.
  • We don't sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
  • No tracking pixels, no Google Analytics, no Facebook SDK.
  • You can delete your account — and everything in it — anytime.

What we collect

The bare minimum needed to make Snap & Save work:

  • Your email. So you can sign in and we can email you about account issues.
  • Your screenshots. Stored encrypted in your private cloud library. Only you can decrypt them.
  • Your plan status. Whether you're on Free or Pro, and how many captures you have left.
  • Stripe customer ID. If you upgrade. We don't store your card details — Stripe does that.

What we don't collect

To be specific:

  • We don't log which sites you visit.
  • We don't analyze the content of your screenshots.
  • We don't track your mouse movements, keystrokes, or behavior.
  • We don't use cookies for advertising.
  • We don't have a "fingerprinting" script.

Where your data lives

Your captures are stored on Supabase, a privacy-respecting platform built on Postgres and AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3+).

Every record is protected by row-level security — the database itself refuses to return your captures to anyone who isn't logged in as you.

Who we share with

Three sub-processors, used only for what they need to do:

  • Supabase — database, storage, authentication.
  • Stripe — payment processing (only if you upgrade).
  • Netlify — hosts this website (no personal data).

That's it. No advertisers. No data brokers. No "marketing partners."

Your rights

You can, at any time:

  • Export all your captures (email us and we'll send a zip).
  • Delete any individual capture from the library.
  • Delete your entire account and everything attached to it.
  • Cancel your subscription in one click via the customer portal.

Cookies

We use exactly two: a session cookie so you stay signed in, and a cookie to remember your theme preference. That's it. No third-party cookies.

Kids

Snap & Save is not designed for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from kids.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we'll email everyone who has an account. Small clarifications get updated quietly with a new date at the top.
