Snap & Save is a Chrome extension that captures screenshots of any webpage — full tab or a region you drag — and saves them in two places at once: your local Downloads folder, and your private encrypted cloud library. You can capture once and access from anywhere.

Two big differences:

  • Cloud sync. Your captures sync to a private library you can access from any device. Native tools save locally only.
  • Organized forever. You can browse, search, and re-download every screenshot you've taken — no more digging through "Screenshot 2024-03-15 at 11.47.32 PM.png" files.

Yes — 10 captures saved to the cloud, no credit card required. Local saves to your Downloads folder are always unlimited and always free. The paid plans just unlock unlimited cloud storage.

Absolutely. One click in the extension takes you to a self-serve portal where you can cancel, change plans, or update your payment method — no emails to support, no dark patterns.

Monthly ($4.99/mo) — flexibility, cancel anytime, unlimited captures while active.

Annual ($29.99/yr) — same as monthly but ~50% off. Best value if you know you'll use it.

100-pack ($6.99 one-time) — no subscription. Just 100 captures that never expire. Perfect for occasional users.

No. Your captures are stored in a row-level-secured database where only your account can read them. We have zero engineering reason to look at user captures, and we've designed the system so we technically can't, even if we wanted to.

Never. No analytics scripts. No third-party trackers. No "anonymous usage data." We make money from Pro subscriptions — not from selling you. Read the full privacy policy.

Chrome blocks all extensions from capturing internal pages (anything starting with chrome://, the new tab page, the Chrome Web Store, etc.) for security reasons. This is a browser-level restriction we can't override. Use a system screenshot for those.

Currently Chrome and Edge (which uses the same engine). Firefox and Safari support is on the roadmap — let us know if you want it sooner!

Two places: (1) Your local Downloads folder, in a subfolder called snap-and-save. (2) Your private cloud library on Supabase Storage, encrypted at rest, with row-level access controls so only your account can read them.

Account recovery is via email. As long as you can access the email you signed up with, you can recover your account and your library — from any browser, on any device.
